A custom theme and shop for the brand, not a template
Client: Bannte — handmade candle bouquets.
The job was a shop that looks like Bannte, not like a WooCommerce demo. We drew the theme from scratch, set up the catalogue and cart, integrated MakeCommerce payments, and connected Venipak, Omniva, DPD and other delivery methods.
Brief
A shop for a maker who does not run Amazon stock
Bannte sells handmade work. Some bouquets are ready; the rest are made after payment. The shop needed to show availability and lead time clearly while giving buyers a choice of delivery and convenient online payment. A stock WooCommerce theme did not fit either the brand or the order process.
What we did
From the theme to the order path
This is the build — not a retelling of the client’s products.
Custom WordPress theme
Palette, type, logo, home and shop views drawn for Bannte. WooCommerce looks like the theme, not like a plugin.
Catalogue setup
Categories, products, prices, sale badges, sorting. Cart and checkout so a buyer can reach payment without a mess.
Pages and structure
About, delivery and payment, FAQ — so the rules live in the shop, not in an email after purchase.
Order logic
Made after payment, with a separate path for ready-to-ship products. Checkout follows the client’s fulfilment process.
Delivery integrations
Connected Venipak, Omniva, DPD and other available delivery methods so buyers can choose at checkout.
Online payments
Integrated MakeCommerce for bank cards, Google Pay and other available payment methods.
Decisions
What this shop actually needed solving
A theme, not a skin
WooCommerce stays the engine. On top sits a theme for this brand, so home and catalogue do not look like a thousand other shops.
Lead time is UX
The product is not “at the door tomorrow”. The catalogue splits stock from made-to-order. That is information architecture, not a slogan.
Delivery and payment in one checkout
Buyers choose a carrier and payment method in one flow. MakeCommerce handles cards and Google Pay, while Venipak, Omniva and DPD provide several delivery options.

FAQ
About this project
Why a custom theme instead of a WooCommerce template?
A template brings someone else’s palette and rhythm. Bannte needed its own look and its own order logic. We wrote the theme for the brand; WooCommerce sits underneath.
What did KVANTS do on this shop?
Theme design and front-end, WooCommerce catalogue and cart, MakeCommerce payments, plus Venipak, Omniva, DPD and other delivery integrations.
Can you build a similar shop for another brand?
Yes — a different theme, catalogue and payment path. This case is the approach, not Bannte’s content to copy. We reply within 1 working day.
